Red Rice (1kg)

  • In the class of rice, red rice is the A-student; rich in micro-nutrients, it's a cut above brown rice. It has a long, narrow grain with a burnt-orange coloured hull. Its chewy, al dente texture makes it an interesting companion in salads, curries and congee (rice soup). Mostly eaten in South and South East Asia, it can be eaten sweet or savoury.
